We would like to present you with a new opportunity to give of your time to your school. The most important thing in a child's academic growth is the parent's involvement in their education and you can do just that here at Frederick Elementary. This year we are asking every parent, grandparent and/or guardian to give at least 3 hours of your time in each of your children's classrooms. Let us introduce:

THREE FOR ME

During the course of the year, give three (3) hours of your time:

• In your child's classroom
• Taking work home with you (ask your child's teacher what they need help with).
• Volunteering at any of the school events.
  • Picture Days (Fall & Spring)
  • Hearing/Vision Screening (Oct.)
  • Grandparents Day (Nov.)

How it works!

• Let your child's teacher know that you would like to volunteer.
• On the day of volunteering, sign in on the THREE FOR ME list in the classroom.
• Your name will be written on a star with the amount of hours volunteered.
• Stars will be displayed each month on the PTA Bulletin board at the end of the main hallway.
• Your child(ren) will be proud to see their parent's name(s) displayed.

This is a National PTA program and we believe it is a great program for our school! To sign up for volunteering at any of our school events, please contact Laura Juarez, PTA president.

 Quisieramos presentarles con un proyecto nuevo para darle la oportunidad de ayudar en la escuela. Lo mas importante en el crecimiento escolar de su hijo/a es que sus padres se envuelvan en las activadas de la escuela. Este ano estamos pidiendo que cada padre, abuelito/a o familiar de tan siquiera 3 horas de su tiempo para ayudar en la clase de su hijo/a. Queremos introducirle:

TRES PARA MI

Solamente tiene que dar tres (3) horas de su tiempo para ayudar a la maestro de su hijo/a, pedirle trabajo a la maestra para llevar a casa o ser voluntario/a en los eventos entre la escuela. Dejele saber a la maestra que gusta ayudarle.

Despues de completar sus horas, pondremos su nombre en una estrella con las horas que fue voluntario/a. Este es un programa en el levele nacional de la organizacion PTA y tenemos confianza que va ser un programa de excito en nuestra escuela. Seguido son unos eventos en nuestra escuela en que necesitamos voluntarios:

Dias de Fotografia (otono y primavera)
Examenes de vision y de escuchar (oct.)
Dia de Los Abuelos (nov.)
