Volunteer

The most important thing in a child's academic growth is the parent's involvement in their education and you can do just that here at Frederick Elementary. This year we are asking every parent, grandparent and/or guardian to give at least 3 hours of your time in each of your children's classrooms.

THREE FOR ME

During the course of the year, give three (3) hours of your time:

• In your child's classroom
• Taking work home with you (ask your child's teacher what they need help with).
• Volunteering at any of the school events.
  • Picture Days (Fall & Spring)
  • Hearing/Vision Screening (Oct.)
  • Grandparents Day (Nov.)

How it works!

• Let your child's teacher know that you would like to volunteer.
• On the day of volunteering, sign in on the THREE FOR ME list in the classroom.
• Your name will be written on a star with the amount of hours volunteered.
• Stars will be displayed each month on the PTA Bulletin board at the end of the main hallway.
• Your child(ren) will be proud to see their parent's name(s) displayed.

This is a National PTA program and we believe it is a great program for our school! To sign up for volunteering at any of our school events, please contact Jessica Koepf, PTA president.
